I LOVE WHAT I DO! FUN, EASY GOING, NO PRESSURE PHOTO SESSIONS !!

I am a work at home mother to 3 daughters-ages 10, 9, and 2. I have been taking photographs for 9 years. I left the "corporate" world of banking and finance to pursue my passion.

I started my photography business with one goal in mind-BE DIFFERENT. I wanted to provide quality photography at an affordable price.

I don't like the word "cheese"--I strive for natural expressions from your child--I believe that a pout is just as beautiful as a smile. I will encourage your child to play, to be themselves, to interact with me. While "traditional", posed photography is fantastic, it is not my style. I prefer to be more of an observer in order to capture the "true and real" qualities of my subjects. If you are looking for a more traditional type of photography, then I will happliy refer you to another great photographer. With me, you will get something that is different from the norm.

My mission is to have beautiful photos that can be cherished for generations by family and friends. My goal is to capture your special moments and make them last a lifetime!

Thank you for considering B4 Photography to preserve your memories!

Please check out my other websites for more photos and more information about sevices and pricing!

And some MORE cute kiddos!!

Another baby planner at 6 months!!

and this baby planner has already perfected the "cheesy" smile!!

and some pretty impressive fishy-kiss lips!

More Cute Kiddos...

Are you all getting the ideal that I have been crazy busy lately?

Here is one of my baby planners at 6 months--Stetson--sooo cute!

and THIS baby is sooo cool, he already has a pimp nickname! This is Hudsen AKA "Studsen"

Ooodles of Newborns...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE newborn sessions! If I could pick only ONE thing to photograph the rest of my life, it would be brand new babies!

Here is just a small sampling of the newest cuties in the metroplex! They were all very alert!

Big sister was a doll too!

Elliott says "hello, world!"

this baby has the cutest dimple!

and another...

Big brother looks like a Gap model!

and another...

And ANOTHER...

and THIS is what happens when the first-time Daddy gets the baby dressed for the photo shoot--sorry, Kevin, I had to call you out!

Whew! Can you say "baby fever" ?? I have 5 more babies in December!

Seriously, I am a blogging fool...

I still have soooo many photos to share!

I had ANOTHER set of twins last weekend--that is a record! 3 sets of multiples in one weekend!

Pretty girl!

And some more...

Avery woke up last night and that ended my blogging for the evening--everytime I lay down with her "just for a minute" to put her back to sleep, I pass right out!
I'll post this one and then it is off to 3 sessions today. I will blog some more tonight! I truly will give each person a post, so if you don't see yours already, then please keep checking back!

This family was sooo incredibly sweet and EASY to photograph!!

And another one of my favorite subjects turned one this month!

OK--off to shoot now! Will post more later!

A Pretty Lil' Thing...

Ok...so, I had to talk Betsy into letting me dress Ainsley up, but I think that she will be sooooo happy that we did! I just cannot let a little girl this cute go through a session with me without a pettiskirt on!
Please meet Jennifer's gorgeous niece!

She has got some seriously killer eyes!

I think that she just might be a "girly-girl"!!

He makes me wanna a little boy!

I LOVE Everett! I adore him! I love how he flirts with me by tilting his little head and looking up at me through his eyelashes and gives me that big, drooly smile. Of course, he stops flirting as soon as the camera goes in front of my face--but I don't care, I still think he is fabulous.

I cannot believe that he is a year old already! I remember very clearly the day I met his mama for her maternity session and how difficult it was to get him to sleep at his newborn session. Some of my all time favorite photos have invovled this little man. Take a look at our year together...

6 Months

9 Months

And now--he's a little man!

I cannot wait to see how big he gets next year!

Twins Squared

Ever wonder what it would be like to have two sets of twins age 2 and under? I think it looks a little like this...

There were a lot of moments that were NOT pure chaos...

How incredibly cool is my job?? I get to watch all 4 of these gorgeous kids grow up over the next year! You will definitely be seeing more of this family!

Sh*t Happens...

There will be no question as to the reason for this blog title once you see the following post. Josh is the brother of my scheduler, Jennifer--you will meet her sister later too! What a sweet, tiny baby they brought into my studio! I think that I had just talked about how I have only had a handful of newborns who didn't leak in one way or another during their session with me and then......Josh got blasted not once, but twice! We all shared a big laugh--or maybe I was laughing so hard that I just thought that everyone was laughing with me...anyway, if you have a weak stomach, then please don't look at the last two photos!

Ok....I warned ya....

First, the pee...

And then, we were just trying to document those cute little buns....

PRICELESS!

The whole time, I was taking pictures of a superhero--and I didn't even know it!

Previews, Previews, Previews!

I am devoting part of this evening to giving a preview EVERY single person who is waiting on their CD. So, if you don't see yours here tonight--check back in the morning!

To save time, I am not doing a ton of descriptions--I figure you guys know who you are! I am also only doing a couple of families per post--so be prepared for SEVERAL posts tonight!

I love repeat clients!

I really do feel good when people tell me that they love their photos (especially when they tell me that they cried), but I think that the ultimate compliment comes when they use me over and over again. That tells me that I am doing something right! I absolutely adore my loyal clients--thank you all so much for trusting me with such precious moments!

Here are a couple of my repeat families!

Don't be fooled by these sweet photos--this little girl was beating the hell out of her brother--but he was sooo good--he just took it and smiled!

I like black and white too-

This is a little more like it!

Here is the ultimate "outakes" family--they always crack me up!

And the outakes....

Last year's best outtakes!

Can't wait to see what they come up with next year!!

Cute kids EVERYWHERE!!

Here is just a sampling of the gorgeous faces that I have seen lately...

More coming....

One of my favorite families...

Michelle and Travis have the SWEETEST girls! Grace LOVES me and Ella is warming up to me! They have a new brother or sister on the way, so I will have a brand new baby to share in May from these two--I am so excited!

Can't wait to meet the new baby!

Just for Leslie...

Leslie is one of my favorite clients and she has referred many people to me, so she got a FREE session. She wanted to do some tall grass pics (like what I did with Avery a couple months ago). She has been really patient with me (your CD will be ready tomorrow) and I think she is anxious to see a few--so, here ya go!

Hot Mamas!!

I saw a few gorgeous, glowing mamas-to-be this month--that means tiny newborns soon!!
Newborns are some of my favorite sessions of all time. Those and babies 6-9 mos old are the BEST!

Monica--

And her gorgeous girls...

Kacee--

Andrea--She looks like a rock star

More posts coming....

I haven't died, I've just been a lazy blogger

I have been so incredibly busy...and very sick. The sick thing is working for me though--I have lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks--woo-hoo! Kinda motivated me to try to keep it up! I know my usual size 2 body is many, many, MANY months away, but I would take ANY single digit number at this point!

I have TONS of photos to share--of people who already have their Cds and of people who are patiently awaiting theirs. I have seen soooooo many cute kids this past month! November has been the busiest month to date--I have 52 regular sessions and 24 Santa sessions this month--no wonder I got sick, huh? Anyway--I want to start with a post about a wedding that I shot a couple of months ago. I never got a chance to share it and I really loved being a part of the wedding day! I am NOT a wedding photographer, but I take 2-3 a year and refer the others to people who are much better at them than me!

Update on Baby Dakota...

Just wanted to let everyone know that Dakota was released from the hospital this morning and is feeling much better! It was just a bad infection, which is minor --compared to what it possibly could have been.

Tyra wanted me to say "Thanks" to everyone who thought of her little boy!

******************NEW UPDATE**********************
Baby Dakota is back in the hospital (Nov 8th)--still fighting something--PLEASE keep this family in yours prayers! This baby needs to get better!!

Prayers needed...

I really do believe in the power of prayers and we need some in a bad way. This is my newest editor, Tyra, and her family, Matt and baby Dakota. Yesterday, Dakota fell unconscious and he currently in the hospital. There aren't a lot of developments as to why that happened or why his white cell blood count is dangerously low at this time. It could be just a bad infection, or it could be something much more serious.

I have grown quite fond of Dakota, since he hangs out with us in my office when his Mommy is helping me edit. He is just the sweetest, most lovable baby. Please send a prayer their way--I know that they would appreciate it!

These were taken a few weeks ago when I first met Tyra for Dakota's newborn session

Pumpkins--I never want to see another one!

Just Kidding--sort of! Really though, I saw a ton of kids for this year's pumpkin patch mini sessions--WAY more than I was anticipating! In an effort to get everyone in, I think I overbooked myself a little. But, in the end (and thank GOD I am at the end of those), they turned out VERY cute. I loved seeing the kids in their costumes and fighting the entire city of Dallas for that darn pumpkin house photo op.

And I will leave this post with Carson and his very convincing "Derek Zoolander- Model/Pirate" impersonation...

I hope everyone had a good time--despite the heat! I have one more important post tonight and then I am done for a while!

A Few More Cuties...

In the middle of editing, but I gotta share these cuties!
Those who are waiting for previews, I PROMISE that you will get one soon...we have 5000+ photos to go thru--once we get that done (this weekend) it won't be hard to narrow down what to preview for you!

I like it when they come to get me!

Another sweet family coming up

Good News and Cute Kids...

I am happy to say that we are ALMOST back at a full 3 weeks waiting versus the 4 weeks that people were waiting recently. YIPPEE!
This is all possible because of the fabulous ladies that have been helping EVERYDAY around the clock!! Jennifer, Brandi, Tyra and myself have logged some SERIOUS hours in Photoshop to get here and we don't plan on falling behind again!

Here are just a sampling of the wonderful clients that I have had recently...

Courtney doesn't even look pregnant, but, man, she has that GLOW!

Handsome little men...

And a SUPER cute girl...

I LOVE fat baby thighs!!

She was not a prissy eater with her cake...

And MY GOODNESS -- could these three BE any cuter??!!??

Is this what it is really like with twins? One happy, one sad?

Big Brother...

The entire family is ADORABLE!

And I HAVE to share this little man!! HE is GORGEOUS!! Like a little Brad Pitt!

***AND--ALL pumpkin patch minis were mailed this weekend, so PLEASE let us know if you have not gotten yours!***

Well--Look at that! ANYONE can be a photographer!

After staring at the computer screen for hours on end while I edit, I must stop here and there and stretch and check the email...blahblahblah... And I found something pretty funny...

Someone clued me in on this a few days ago--but I had to see it for myself...

In a never ending, "gotta laugh about it or I'd be irritated all the time" world where pretty much anyone who can afford a decent camera and can pay $100 bucks for a website can become (**magically**) a "professional photographer", apparently Barbie can be one too! That's right folks! She comes complete with 3 backdrops, 3 baby models, a camera on a tripod and a smile on her face!! Hmmm...I wonder if talent is included or is sold separately!!??
