New Kid on the Block...

I know that my friend, Noelle, will see this blog title and think that I have finally converted to a NKOTB fan...ummm, no...still not loving those guys...this post is all about one of the newest babies I photographed...Miss Audrey

She was just as cute as could be but I detect a hint of rebel in her--she was not giving up sleep very easily! Once she did, though, WOW--great baby! Moved her 3 times without waking her up! Mom has these shots for her announcements, but I wanted to share with all of you!









I am loving my new hat!







Maybe I should compile a collection of photos in a book called "Where's Baby?"--instead of where's Waldo?

I blogged this post before, or so I thought...I guess that I didn't check to make sure it went up and blogger saved it but had an error when it tried to post it...Sorry, Lauren...here is the post I promised you!



I started working with a new boutique called Cotton Candy Tutus and have found that the owner, Lauren, is full of ideas! She has commissioned me for the rest of the year to photograph her clothing line. This is the boys' line. The models were cute and easy--my kind of product photo shoot! Let's pray that all of the others go as smoothly!















I also met up with Lauren to photograph her daughter for her upcoming birthday...she had a 50's themed party and we had a blast with our quickie shoot at Purple Cow--BTW--I LOVE doing different shoots like this!! So fun!








ummmmm....can you say "Miss Personality"??

A Sweet Surprise

I came home on Saturday to this very sweet gesture of thanks from one of my favorite clients (they are all becoming favorites--this little boy is special to me)!!
She had no idea when she sent it, but Saturday was the perfect day for me to receive this gift...here's how Saturday went...
I had 3 sessions at the Arboretum...
First one went smoothly...
Second one took a tad longer than I thought it would, but still good...
Third one was a dream session with brand new clients...
Nothing exciting, right?
Well, although I did eat breakfast and lunch, and I drank 4 bottles of water while out there, I apparently got dehydrated...had a little fainting spell at the Arboretum (some little old man was my nurse) and then had another one when I got home...a few hours later, I come to in Carenow with an IV in my arm and a pretty freaked out hubby...seems I got REALLY dehydrated! The temp raising so fast, along with the lack of sleep on Thurs and Fri, running all over the Arboretum, and obviously NOT drinking enough fluids got the best of me. So, in the future, you will all see me running around with Gatorade!!

I recovered enough to survive day 3 of the bunny sessions! YAY!! Speaking of bunny sessions--Day 2 is complete and all were sent out today (if they weren't already sent), except for the 3 who requested pick-up. A slideshow will go up on the website for you all to see tomorrow--sorry, I am turning in early tonight--still not feeling 100%. It was great to see a lot of new faces--I was glad that I opened the 3rd day and got to meet all of you new people! Thanks so much to those who referred them to me!!

I will be posting some previews this week too--for those who say you are stalking my blog, waiting to see your little one's photos ;-)

Lastly, I just wanted to say "thank you" to Jaime one more time--your gift is helping to nurse me back to health!! You are so sweet to go out of your way for me in that way!! You say that you appreciate me, and I definitely appreciate you!

Today's Babies and Bunnies Mini-Session

All day one bunnies have been mailed out and a preview is available to all who would like to see on my website--sorry it took so long to get it up--I did something a little different than I normally do. You can actually email your photo out directly to your friends and family! Go to the website www.b4photography.com and hit the menu>click on "Babies and Bunnies" and follow instructions from there! Please give me some feedback on if you guys like this way better!!

Day Two, I know you guys are chomping at the bits for your photos--they are coming and will be mailed out absolutely no later than Wed morn. Anyone interested in picking up their CD from me needs to call me at 469-955-4922 to work out a pick up time! I am mailing them out as they are done and, really, only the last 4-5 will have to go out that late in the week....so call me if you'd like to see if your CD is ready before that!
